My Own Vintage was launched in September 2008, out of a 20-year hobby of home wine making. We are located in the heart of the beautiful Skagit Valley of Washington State, with both a webstore (see "Shop Online" above) and a NEW, convenient store location, serving a full range of customers from hobbyist to commercial. Our wine and beer kits are among the finest in the industry, certain to satisfy the most discerning palate. You won't find a more complete inventory of beer hops and grains anywhere! Our cheesemaking line has launched many a new cheese crafter, as well. Making Mead In Stanwood

I was invited by Bonnie Swanson of the Stanwood Camano Beekeeping Association to give a presentation on mead making. For those of you that are wondering Mead is a wine or beer that uses honey rather than sugar for sweetening and fermenting.
Our Beer Kits Are Less

One of our customers named Jeremy came in this morning and told me that he had priced individually all the ingredients for his beer made from scratch and found that he saved about $8.00 by buying the Brewers Best beer kit from us and he likes the beer better.
